In the sleepy village of Chandler’s Ford, lollypop-loving Marmalade Whiteman and catastrophically enthusiastic Colonel Bernard Toast solve delightfully eccentric little cases — missing tortoises, suspicious jam, exploding cricket balls — until one investigation accidentally uncovers an ancient relic and kicks off a mythic adventure neither of them signed up for.
